Novi Welcomes Houston TX Hot Chicken with Grand Opening
Feeling spicy? Novi residents are in for a treat as Houston TX Hot Chicken is all set to open its doors for the second time in Michigan! The grand opening event is happening on Saturday, Nov. 2, and it promises to be a flavorful affair.
Located at 43339 Crescent Blvd. in Novi Town Center, right across from Hobby Lobby and the Walmart Supercenter, this Las Vegas-based chain has gained a reputation for serving what they call the “world’s best Nashville hot chicken sandwiches.” Their menu features premium, organic chicken that is hormone and antibiotic-free, and never frozen.
The first Michigan location opened earlier this year on Hall Road in Sterling Heights, and now Novi gets a chance to savor their unique offerings. Among the popular menu items, guests can look forward to the cheesy hot chicken sandwich, tenders-and-waffles meal, and the delightful Texas Caesar salad. For something truly indulgent, don’t miss out on the fusion fries, which are smothered in seasoning and topped with cheese, chicken, corn relish, mangos, cilantro dressing, and more.
Guests can choose from various spice levels on their chicken, ranging from “No Spice” to the fiery “Houston We Have a Problem,” which is so hot that diners must sign a waiver before taking the challenge.
The grand opening celebration will take place from noon to 3 p.m. and will feature complimentary food for the first 250 people in line. In addition to the free food, thrill-seekers can participate in a “Spice Challenge”, where the first person to finish three of the “Houston We Have a Problem” tenders in under three minutes, without taking any drinks, will walk away with a $1,000 cash prize!
Since its founding in 2021, Houston TX Hot Chicken has expanded its locations across several states including Arizona, California, Nevada, Washington, Texas, Utah, and Idaho, now with two in Michigan.
