Tyrone Fergerson, aged 53, matched all five white balls in the drawing held on September 24, 2024, originally winning a $1 million prize. Mega Millions drawings happen every week on Tuesdays and Fridays at 11 p.m. Eastern Time. Tickets are available for only $2, and players can add the Megaplier feature for an additional $1 to increase their non-jackpot prizes by up to five times.

For those looking to try their luck, Mega Millions tickets are sold across 45 states, Washington D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Tickets are available until 10:45 p.m. on the day of the drawing, either online or at local retailers.
