The city government of Northville is led by the City Council, which consists of the Mayor and four Council Members. The City Council is responsible for setting policies, approving the budget, and overseeing the administration of the city.
The City Manager is appointed by the City Council and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the city. The current City Manager is Pat Sullivan.
The city also has several boards and commissions, such as the Planning Commission and the Zoning Board of Appeals, that advise the City Council on various issues.
