Brighton, Michigan – Get ready for some traffic changes this Saturday as the Michigan Department of Transportation is planning to close both directions of Grand River Avenue between Kent Lake Road and Kensington Road for construction. The closure will take place from 7 AM to 3 PM.
If you’re driving east on Grand River, you’ll need to follow a detour. You’ll be redirected to southbound Kensington Road, then take a left onto eastbound Silver Lake. After that, you’ll head north on Kent Lake Road to get back to Grand River.
For those traveling westbound, the detour will guide you to southbound Kent Lake Road, then a left onto westbound Silver Lake, and finally, head north on Kensington Road to return to Grand River.
Make sure to plan accordingly, as these detours may cause some delays throughout the day. Stay safe and be mindful of the construction crew working to improve our roads!
