Spooky Nighttime Illuminated Halloween Trail Lights Up Michigan Forest

In the serene town of Commerce Township, Michigan, an enchanting spectacle is about to take place. The Glenlore Trails, a popular local forest, is getting a spine-tingling, yet magical makeover for the fifth year in a row. Starting September 20, a portion of the forest will be lit up with intriguing tales and glowing activities as part of its famed “Enchanted” Halloween nighttime trail.

Perfect for families and thrill-seekers alike, the one-mile trail promises an immersive experience under the moonlit Michigan skies. Located at 860 Newton Road at Multi Lakes, the trail does away with the traditional jump scares, instead focusing on creating an eerie yet enchanting Halloween atmosphere.

Visitors will be privy to various interactive experiences and games nestled within the tranquil woods. The trail comes alive at night with vivid illuminations, creating a stunning spectacle that is sure to delight Halloween lovers.

Ticket Information and Availability

For those keen to explore this glowing Halloween magic, tickets will be available for purchase starting Tuesday, August 13. Alternatively, you can join the waitlist to grab your ticket a day earlier. Adult tickets go for $25 each, while kids aged 4-12 can enjoy the experience for $15. Kids 3 and under can join the fun for free, and seniors aged 65 and older can grab their tickets for just $20.

Besides the illuminated walking trail, the event also promises food trucks and concessions on-site for the hungry explorers. The forest is also seeking to add some new employees, such as trail guides and parking staff, to enhance guests’ overall experience.

Operation Schedule

The ‘Enchanted’ extravaganza will stay open every Thursday through Sunday evening until November 3rd. Not just limiting itself to Halloween, Glenlore Trails will undergo a transformation into a Christmas evening walkthrough starting November 15th, ensuring the sparkling spectacle continues to dazzle visitors.
