The college’s Marketing and Communications Office walked away with an impressive five Medallion Awards, celebrating their top-notch efforts in the realms of marketing, communications, and design. This is no small feat, considering the competition came from a vast array of two-year community and technical colleges from across a remarkable swath of states and regions.

- Gold for Logo Wear – featuring a standout American Sign Language (ASL) T-shirt where MassBay is illustrated in ASL across the front, an ASL I love you sign on the sleeve, along with the college’s logo.
- Gold for Successful Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Marketing – this award spotlighted the significant dedication of the conference room to the late Virginius B. Thornton III. A civil rights leader and beloved professor, this event included a speaker session with Chief Court Justice Kimberly Budd and a warm reception.
- Silver for Interior Signage/Displays – recognizing the revamped signage around the college’s Ashland campus, which showcases framed photos from their annual All Vehicle Show and new cling graphics displaying the college’s logo.
- Bronze for Communication Success Story – this was awarded for highlighting the journey of Shelly Smith, a 2024 graduate who completed her degree after a remarkable 29-year endeavor at MassBay.
