Colorful autumn festival scene.

Hey there, folks from Detroit! This is the weekend we have all been waiting for. With sunny skies and a cool breeze, we’re about to plunge into some fall fun. We’ve got the scoop on some exciting events happening right here in Metro Detroit this weekend.

First up is the Plymouth Fall Festival, which will run from Friday, September 6 through Sunday, September 8 in downtown Plymouth. This festival promises to be a bundle of joy with activities such as a craft show, carnivals, car shows, and live music. The best part is, it’s free to attend. What’s not to love?

If art, music, and food are more your scene, make sure you check out the Dally in the Alley on Saturday, September 7 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. The event will be buzzing with entertainment, ranging from bands to a dog show, and even a drag performance. Entry for this event is also free.

And what’s fall without some delicious cider and donuts? The Donut and Cider Fest this Saturday and Sunday at Canterbury Village in Lake Orion is just the place to be. Aside from the yummy treats, there will be entertainment like a petting farm, lawn games and bounce houses. Entry costs are just $4 for cash payments or $5 with a card.

That’s not it! The St. Linus Fall Festival will take place from Friday to Sunday at St. Linus Church in Dearborn Heights. Look forward to live music, carnival rides, and a beer tent. Oh and food lovers, don’t forget to check out the Dodge Park Food Truck Rally on Friday. You won’t be disappointed!

For art enthusiasts, the first-ever Trenton Art Festival will run from Saturday, Sept. 7 to 14 in downtown Trenton. It will feature murals, sculptures, an art scavenger hunt, and artist vendors.

If Halloween starts early for you, the Wicked Bizarre event is a must-visit. This will take place on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Wayne County Fairground in Belleville, featuring over 150 vendors selling all things Halloween, spooky, and creepy.

Last but not the least, the Rumble of the Bumble, a free street fair dedicated to local artists, small businesses, and nonprofits is happening on Saturday from 2-10 p.m. in Depot Town in Ypsilanti. There will be vendors, live music, entertainment, and Rumble of the Bumble wrestling.

There you have it, folks. A weekend jam-packed with fun, entertainment and food. Enjoy!
