Sponsor Our ArticlesIn a shocking turn of events in Westland, Michigan, a woman faces serious charges after intentionally crashing into multiple vehicles over the weekend. The woman left a trail of wreckage in her path, severely injuring two people. The main purpose of this account is to describe she allegedly wrought havoc, and the plight of the victims left dealing with the aftermath.
Identified as April Marie Graves, 43, the woman has been slapped with a staggering 13 charges, two of which are counts of assault with intent to murder. Setting an example of alleged criminal behaviour, the Wayne County Prosecutor stated that this incident has inflicted life-altering injuries on two Wayne County citizens.
She appeared in court on one of the week days, where she was handed a bond set at a sizeable $850,000. Following her arraignment, she was rather taken aback by the decision, leading to her fainting and subsequently being escorted out of court.
The unforgettable rampage started at around 7:15 p.m. Saturday, with eyewitnesses claiming she was intoxicated and was driving at a high speed down Wildwood Street. Amidst this havoc, two victims, Luke and Hailey Vinkso, had the bad luck of being in her path while they were unloading their car. The terrified pair narrated how she rammed her vehicle into them, struck another car, and then returned to hit their car, all the while laughing at the ensuing chaos.
Despite ongoing challenges, including having to see Luke’s leg amputated, the Vinkso family remains positive, expressing hope in getting through it one day at a time. Further details about the case and the road to recovery for the victims will be provided as more information becomes available.
