Despite being rushed to Hurley Medical Center, the man tragically succumbed to his injuries and was declared dead upon arrival.

Investigation led the police to undo a shocking revelation. The groomsman’s death wasn’t accidental. He had reportedly been hit by an SUV at high speed. What came as a shocking twist, the authorities identified the driver as none other than the newly wed groom himself. A heated exchange between the two had culminated in the bridegroom allegedly ramming into the groomsman with the vehicle, leading to his untimely demise.

Charges Leveled Against the Newlyweds

The authorities have since indicted the couple in this appalling incident. The groom, James Shirah, 22 years old, has been charged with second degree murder in connection with his friend’s death. He is currently being held without bond. On the other hand, the bride, Savahna Collier, 21 years old, was slapped with charges of being an accessory after the fact to a felony. Her bond has been set at $4,000.
