New Sugary Sensation Coming to Downtown Northville

Right in the heart of Northville, a new sugary sensation is coming soon. The beloved Peace, Love and Little Donuts opening shop in downtown Northville will add a sweet vibe to the city’s bustling food scene. Housed originally at 345 E. Cady St. – previously occupied by Mithai and Chai, the doors are set to open sometime in November this year.

This colorful and retro-designed donut store is well-known for its original mini-donuts. Offering an inviting range of flavors – from good old classics to cool and creative, this refreshing spot is bound to become a hit. Its crowd-pleasers include the cinnamon sugar-ridden “Groovy”, the chocolate lover’s dream “Far-Out”, and, for the adventurous sweet tooths out there, the heavenly maple bacon “Funkadelic” topped with crisp bacon bits. Yet, that’s just the start. Additional flavors to look forward to are salted caramel macchiato, strawberry shortcake, Boston cream pie, raspberry truffle, among others.

The Northville-situated franchise is a vision come true for a local couple, who fell madly in love with the donut brand during their family vacation. Little did they know that the love affair would turn into a sweet business venture. Their pursuit of finding the perfect location ended in Northville, a place they felt would embody their donut dream.

A unique but fun aspect of this shop is that all donuts are made fresh and to order, providing a kind of “food theater” for the customers. The owners reassure locals that they will never have to see a ‘sorry, out of donuts’ sign as their makers can adapt the speed of producing these sweet treats based on demand, making sure freshly made donuts are available throughout the day. To make planning easier for patrons, samples will always be available.

Catering to a wider audience, Peace, Love and Little Donuts will occasionally offer gluten-friendly and vegan options, all depending upon popular demand. But there’s not just donuts to look forward to, the shop also plans on serving refreshingly squeezed orange juice and a variety of coffee drinks, enhancing the overall taste experience for visitors.

With a franchising journey starting off in Pittsburgh in 2009, Peace, Love and Little Donuts has since established its presence in 11 states, including various Michigan spots. The Northville outlet insists on keeping locals updated on its grand opening and other exciting news via Peace Love and Little Donuts of Northville on Facebook and Instagram @plldnorthville.

The announcement of this new little gem comes as exciting news for donut enthusiasts and locals alike, keen to see what the colorful donut hub will bring to Northville’s thriving food scene. With a motley menu of irresistible donut flavors and a welcoming vibe, this new addition is bound to put Northville on the map for donut devotees.
