Novi Welcomes Sweet Treats Just in Time for the Holidays!

Exciting news for chocolate lovers in Novi! The Chocolate Moonshine Cocoa Lounge has officially opened its doors at the Twelve Oaks Mall, and it’s making waves with its delectable selection of chocolatey delights. Rumor has it that even Santa might want to make a pit stop here this holiday season!

A Chocolate Wonderland Awaits

Step inside and you’ll find a delightful array of chocolate confections that are sure to make even the grumpiest of Scrooges smile. From rich fudge to luxurious truffle bars, colorful pan candies, and even festive drinks, all of these goodies are lovingly claimed to be “illegally good.” Just in case you’re a little skeptical, they’ve got you covered with tasty samples!

Jim McIntosh, a friendly retired GM employee and the proud owner of the new shop, couldn’t be happier. “The product is amazing and once people have it, they continue to want to buy it,” he said with a smile. “We have a lot of repeat customers.” One such fan is Ayna Bowser, a local who works at the mall. She couldn’t resist placing her order for an iced sipping chocolate that she described as “phenomenal” – and who wouldn’t be tempted with that kind of compliment?

Amazing Offerings to Delight Your Taste Buds

Visitors to this spacious store are in for a treat, with visually stunning truffle bars made of pure Belgian chocolate. Each one is hand-painted in various brilliant colors using cocoa butter and filled with creamy ganache, offered in dozens of flavors. Choose from convenient packs of 2, 4, or 10, and don’t miss the seasonal holiday deals that include a buy one, get one 50% off offer running all season long!

Among the impressive selection, you’ll find pre-packaged truffle bar collections inspired by the holidays, with flavors like gingerbread, cinnamon strudel, and candy cane. You can also indulge in classic favorites like tiramisu, sea salt caramel, raspberry, and pistachio. But that’s not all; the distillery collection will entice grown-ups with treats infused with flavors like barrel-aged whiskey, Irish cream, and black cherry bourbon. And guess what? There’s even an option to build your own customized box of goodies – ideal for snagging the perfect gift!

Mouth-watering slabs of fudge add to the temptation, boasting a variety of similar flavors, ensuring there’s something delicious for everyone. McIntosh also reassured parents that even the chocolates infused with alcohol are kid-friendly, as the alcohol evaporates during cooking, leaving just the delightful taste.

A Sweet Journey Originating from Pennsylvania

So, how did this sweet venture sprout up in Novi? The beloved Chocolate Moonshine brand began in Pennsylvania, thanks to founder Chris Warman, who started crafting chocolates back in the mid-1980s. After creating a famous fudge recipe by the end of the decade, the company officially launched about 30 years later and has since expanded its reach to various states.

Jim and his family first learned about Chocolate Moonshine during a conference they attended for their family’s laser engraving business. After being invited to visit the East Coast to explore more about the operation, they were taken in by the magic of the candy-making process. Soon enough, their charming family simply couldn’t resist bringing the allure of these chocolate treats to Michigan.

Staying Sweet in Novi?

Initially designed to be a pop-up shop, the warm reception from the community has led McIntosh to consider extending their stay beyond the end of January. “Our hope and dream is to stay here, but it will depend on the response from the community,” he expressed.

With the holidays in full swing, it seems like the perfect time to grab some scrumptious treats for family and friends. After all, who wouldn’t want to share a little happiness wrapped in chocolate? McIntosh emphasizes, “I love this product and the quality taste. The company has great morals and standards.”

So, if you’re in or around Novi, don’t forget to stop by the Chocolate Moonshine Cocoa Lounge at Twelve Oaks Mall and treat your tastebuds to something sweet this holiday season!
