Novi to Celebrate Grand Opening of Houston TX Hot Chicken Featuring Spicy Delights and Exciting Challenges

Novi Welcomes a New Hot Chicken Joint

Novi, Michigan, is about to get a spicy addition to its dining scene with the opening of Houston TX Hot Chicken. This fast-casual chicken chain specializes in Nashville-style hot chicken and will be hosting its grand opening on Saturday at 43339 Crescent Blvd in the Novi Town Center. The event kicks off at noon and runs until 3 p.m.

Houston TX Hot Chicken, affectionately known as HHC, takes pride in its commitment to quality. They serve halal, organic, never frozen, and antibiotic-free chicken, which appeals to health-conscious diners. Their signature sandwiches come packed with flavor, featuring house sauce or a sauce of choice, served on a soft brioche bun along with fries, pickles, and slaw.

The grand opening is set to be an exciting affair! The first 250 people in line will receive free food. Plus, food lovers can partake in a thrilling food challenge contest, competing for cash prizes, and there will be an exotic car meet to enjoy.

One exciting highlight is the HWHAP (Houston We Have a Problem) Spice Challenge, where brave participants can try to tackle three of HHC’s spiciest chicken tenders for a chance to win a whopping $1,000 prize.

What can you expect on the menu? HHC offers a wide variety of dishes, including hot chicken sandwiches, chicken tenders, and even fusion fries. Sides like chicken soup, slaw, and waffles complement the main offerings. Customers can indulge in delicious milkshakes to wash it all down. The original hot chicken sandwich is priced at $15.99, featuring pickles, house sauce, and crinkle-cut fries.

For spice lovers, there are multiple spice levels to choose from: no spice, mild, medium, and several hotter options reaching up to 600,000 and even 2 million Scoville Heat Units for those adventurous enough to sign a waiver.

This new location in Novi follows HHC’s first spot that opened in Sterling Heights. A third location in Troy is already in the works, expected to be completed by early 2025. The chain has been steadily growing since its founding in 2021, with existing spots across states like Arizona, California, Nevada, Washington, Texas, Utah, and Idaho.

So, food enthusiasts and spicy chicken lovers, mark your calendars for this weekend’s grand opening and get ready to taste the heat!
