All-Female Rock Band PLUSH Set to Rock Token Lounge on August 3rd

The group comprises four immensely talented musicians, Moriah, Bella, Ashley, and Faith, who have taken the rock scene by storm. Prior to their anticipated show at the Token Lounge, the band divulged various aspects of their exciting journey in rock music.

One interesting revelation came from Moriah, an experienced angler in her free time. When asked about her unusual hobby, she said, “It’s really peaceful and relaxing to me.” It’s indeed a stark contrast to their exhilarating ‘band life’.

Discussing their previous tour with Disturbed earlier this year, the ladies were full of praise for their companions. Moriah, who also performed Anne Wilson’s role in the song ‘Don’t Tell Me’ each night, described the experience as “absolutely incredible.” Bella shared similar sentiments, adding that everyone in the Disturbed camp was equally amazing.

The band also fondly remembered their cover of the classic rock track ‘Barracuda,’ revealing their excitement at the possibility of feedback from the original performers, the rock legends Heart.

When questioned about their identity as an ‘all-female rock band’, Moriah confidently declared, “I think at the end of the day, we are just a rock band out there doing our thing.” Bella further emphasised the influx of women in the rock scene and their pride in being part of this powerful female movement in rock.

Faith, the newest addition to the band, shared how Bella spotted a Facebook post and ended up joining the band, delineating the unpredictability and excitement associated with the world of rock.

Besides her role in PLUSH, Moriah has been touring with TSO for the last couple of winters. Describing that experience, she said, “It’s just amazing. It’s a different experience, and I’m just proud to be a part of it.”
