PLUSH Set to Rock the Token Lounge and Engage in a Chat with WRIF
The all-female rock group, PLUSH, is bringing their high-energy show to the Token Lounge on Saturday, August 3rd. The rockstars engaged in a captivating chat prior to the big gig, discussing a wide range of topics.
The band members, Moriah, Bella, Ashley, and Faith, shared their experiences including Moriah’s unusual interest in fishing. Moriah, describing it as ‘peaceful and relaxing,’ stated that it served as a soothing break from band life.
The group also reminisced about their recent tour with the legendary band, Disturbed. Moriah and Bella praised the Disturbed camp for being ‘absolutely incredible.’ In a highlight moment of the tour, Moriah even replaced Anne Wilson to sing the song ‘Don’t Tell Me’.
Fans are eagerly awaiting the band’s rocking rendition of Heart’s classic ‘Barracuda’ – a daring move that has yet to draw commentary from the original legendary rockers.
The term ‘all-female rock band’ brought forth interesting thoughts from the group. Moriah emphasized their identity as a rock band moving beyond gender specifications, while Bella highlighted the increasing recognition women in the rock scene are receiving. In a surprising twist, it was revealed that Bella was recruited to the band through a Facebook post.
Moriah is also known for touring with TSO during the winters, explaining that it was a unique experience she was proud to be a part of.
