Tense Situation in Redford as Child Witnesses Flee from Alleged Shooting Scene

Tuesday turned traumatic for the quiet neighborhood in Redford, Michigan as an alleged shooting incident sent shockwaves through the community.

Witnesses reported a gunshot around 7 p.m. from a house in the 20400 block of Lexington, positioned between Eight Mile and Norfolk Road. A horrified onlooker was driving past the residence when she heard the loud crack of the suspected gunshot. Immediately grasping the gravity of the situation, she reached out to emergency services to report her observations.

The terrifying incident escalated even further as she noticed four to five children fleeing the house, screaming in apparent fear and panic. It was a car full of people over there, and then we drove in our driveway, and then I called the police. From there police came, and a man started running, and the police were chasing, and they got him.”
