Remembering Rose A. Krueger: A Beloved Jamestown Resident Passes Away at 88

Jamestown, NY – The community is mourning the loss of Rose A. Krueger, who peacefully passed away on March 6, 2025, at the age of 88 at Heritage Park Rehab and Skilled Nursing. A lifelong resident of Jamestown, Rose filled the lives of many with warmth and kindness throughout her remarkable journey.

A Life Rich in Memories

Born on December 31, 1936, to the late Henry and Giovina Moro DiSabatino, Rose was a proud member of Jamestown High School’s Class of 1955. Her high school years were just the beginning of a fulfilling life dedicated to her family, friends, and community. After graduating, she embarked on a long and successful career as an order entry clerk at Producto/Ring Tool and Die, where she devoted over 50 years of her life before retirement. Her work was a significant part of her identity, showcasing her strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.

Faith and Family First

A devout member of St. James Catholic Church, Rose’s faith played an integral role in her life. It was through her commitment to her church that she nurtured many friendships and participated in community activities that she cherished dearly. She was not just a churchgoer but a pillar of strength for those around her, imparting wisdom and warmth.

Rose is survived by her loving sister, Vera DiSabatino MacLeod, who resides in Depew. She had three nieces who enriched her life in various ways: Diane Day of Wilson, NY; Janet Perry of Northville, MI; and Ron MacLeod of Elma, NY. Rose was also blessed with great- and great-great-nieces and nephews, each holding a special place in her heart. Family meant everything to her, and she often delighted in sharing stories about each one of them.

Filled with Gratitude

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the cousins and close friends who added joy to Rose’s life. Special mention goes to Jeanne and Dick Anderson of Jamestown, whose companionship and kindness brought smiles to Rose’s days. Their friendship beautifully illustrated the importance of community support during both joyful and tough times.

A Bittersweet Goodbye

Rose’s passing is poignant for many, particularly as she was preceded in death by her great-great-niece, Beatrice Jordan. Life can sometimes be unpredictable, and while Rose will be deeply missed, the memories she created will endure. Those who had the pleasure of knowing her will remember her for her zest for life, compassion, and ability to light up a room.

Memorial Arrangements

A memorial mass to celebrate Rose’s life will be held at a later date, giving family and friends time to gather and reflect on the wonderful moments they shared. Following the ceremony, she will find her final resting place at Holy Cross Cemetery, surrounded by the love of her family and the community she adored.

For those wishing to extend their condolences, more information is available online. Rose’s legacy lives on in the hearts of those she touched, a testament to a life well lived in Jamestown.
