The city of Detroit is currently under high alert as potential severe weather conditions are expected to prevail across Southeast Michigan on August 27, 2024. All Metro Detroit counties have been issued with a heat advisory and a large portion of Southeast Michigan is under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 9 p.m. The thunderstorms are expected to break pass into Ontario at about 9 p.m.
