Boost for Small Businesses in Detroit with Operate 2024 Conference

In Detroit, small businesses are set to get a boost from Operate 2024, a free one-day conference on September 20, 2024. This event, being held at the Marygrove Conservancy and organised by both the conservancy and Operations School based in Farmington Hills, aims to provide attendees with expert insights and resources to streamline their daily operations.

“Operate 2024” is designed help small businesses grow, by addressing key issues such as harnessing technology to increase efficiency, comprehending legal responsibilities and compliance, branding, as well as business scaling. According to Racheal Allen, CEO of Operations School, the conference is meant to create an environment where small business owners can discuss challenges, ask questions, and realize they are not alone in a bid to increase their business credibility, visibility and scalability.

To cater for different stages of business growth, the conference will feature three different tracks – Start, Scale, and Sustain. Turkessa Baldridge, director of programs and engagement at Marygrove Conservancy, highlighted that this partnership and event underpins the conservancy’s vision to act as an educational, economic, and civic anchor in the revitalization of Detroit. She added, “Operate 2024 allows us to fulfill this mission by equipping the entrepreneurs in our community with the knowledge and resources for long-lasting business success, thereby contributing to the greater success of our region.”

The event will be held from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Marygrove campus, located at 8425 W. McNichols Road in Detroit. To register for this free event, potential attendees can visit related websites, which we cannot mention here due to provided guidelines.

Small businesses form the backbone of any local economy and such initiatives provide the much needed boost to ensure sustainability and growth.
