Walled Lake Schools Host Community Job Fair on November 13

Walled Lake, a vibrant community in Michigan, is gearing up for an exciting event aimed at connecting residents with local educational opportunities. The Walk into Walled Lake is set to take place from 4 to 7 p.m. on November 13 at the Marc A. Siegler board room in the Educational Services Center, located at 850 Ladd Road, Building D.

This event provides a unique chance for community members to explore the 20 schools within the district and to learn more about potential job openings. Abbie Kidder, the executive manager of human resources, expressed her enthusiasm for the event, stating, “The Walk into Walled Lake is a great way for the community to see all of the possibilities that exist within our district.” She emphasized the district’s commitment to creating a supportive work environment that encourages a healthy work-life balance while making a meaningful difference in the lives of students.

Those attending the event will find a variety of job opportunities available, including:

  • Instructional Paraeducators – starting at $16.33 per hour
  • Lunchroom and Playground Paraeducators – starting at $15.74 per hour
  • Locker Room and Parking Lot Paraeducators – starting at $15.74 per hour
  • Multiple Secretary Positions – starting at $17.68-$19.54 per hour (Depending on role)
  • Prime Time Care – starting at $15.91 per hour
  • Food Service – starting at $14.53 per hour
