Walled Lake Schools to Host Community Job Fair

In Walled Lake, excitement is building for an upcoming event designed to connect the community with local educational opportunities. On November 13th, from 4 to 7 p.m., the Walled Lake schools will host their first-ever Walk into Walled Lake event at the Marc A. Siegler board room located at the Educational Services Center, 850 Ladd Road, Building D.

This event aims to showcase the district’s 20 schools and provide an opportunity for community members to learn more about job openings within the district. Abbie Kidder, the executive manager of human resources, highlights that “Walk into Walled Lake is a great way for the community to see all of the possibilities that exist within our district.”

The district takes pride in offering positions that help employees achieve a healthy balance between work and home life while positively impacting the lives of children every day. There are several positions available for interested applicants:

  • Instructional Paraeducators – starting at $16.33 per hour
  • Lunchroom and Playground Paraeducators – starting at $15.74 per hour
  • Locker Room and Parking Lot Paraeducators – starting at $15.74 per hour
  • Multiple Secretary Positions – starting at $17.68$19.54 per hour (Depending on role)
  • Prime Time Care – starting at $15.91 per hour
  • Food Service – starting at $14.53 per hour
