Meet the New Principal of Walled Lake Western High School

Our small town of Walled Lake is all abuzz with the exciting news. Amy Pashak has just been given the nod as the freshly minted principal at Walled Lake Western High School. A well-rounded educator, she is bringing with her a wealth of experience garnered from her various roles in the educational field.

Pashak is coming off of a successful two-year run as a principal at both Fowlerville High School and the online counterpart, Fowlerville Online Learning Academy. But that’s not the sum of her experience. Before Fowlerville, she spent eight years chalking up administrative expertise at Howell High School’s freshman campus.

Speaking about her appointment, Pashak shared, “It is with great enthusiasm that I join this well-respected high school. I look forward to serving the students, staff, and families of the Walled Lake Western community.”

A Stellar Track Record in Education

Amy’s education journey kicked off 16 years ago when she first started teaching high school social studies. Drawing from a solid academic background, she has been recognized for her exceptional leadership in previous roles. According to Superintendent Michael Lonze, Amy’s deep understanding of education and her commitment to student success made her the perfect fit for the role. He expressed confidence in her expertise and dedication, saying they would greatly benefit our beloved community.

For those who may not know, Walled Lake Western High School is part of a larger community. With 1,194 students for the 2022-23 school year, it is just one of 20 schools in the Walled Lake Consolidated Schools district. Looking at Amy’s track record, we’re sure she’ll add a lot to our thriving educational landscape.
