Wixom Gears Up for a Magical Evening at the Tree Lighting Festival!

Hey there, Wixom residents! Are you ready for some holiday cheer? Tomorrow evening, our lovely city will be transformed into a winter wonderland as the Wixom Tree Lighting Festival kicks off. It’s a fantastic opportunity to gather with friends and family to celebrate the joys of the season.

Santa’s Arrival & Family Fun!

So, what can you expect at this much-anticipated event? Well, get this – there’s a very special guest who will be flipping the switch to light up the giant tree. Yep, you guessed it! Santa Claus will be gracing us with his jolly presence! The festivities will begin at 5 p.m. and run until 10 p.m. at the Wixom Community Center located at 49015 Pontiac Trail.

Picture this: kids giggling in excitement as they get the chance to visit Santa from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Kids can even chat with Santa about their holiday wishes! But that’s not all – the little ones will also have the chance to hang out with reindeer, get their faces painted, and dive into some creative fun with crafts at the library. How awesome is that?

And let’s not forget about food – what’s a festival without some yummy treats? Local vendors will be serving up delicious options, so come hungry! Additionally, you can enjoy free horse and carriage rides, and watch some stunning ice sculptures being crafted right before your eyes. There really is something for everyone!

As a reminder, there is no fee to attend the event, but do keep in mind there will be fees for food and drinks at the beer tent. So, save up a little pocket change to enjoy some tasty treats!
